About Us
Activate was originally launched by the Tamaki Makaurau Business Network and MBIE during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in 2021. It was relaunched in 2023 to support businesses as a result of the Auckland flooding and Cyclone Gabrielle.
Activate serves as a central hub for local businesses. You can connect to self-help resources, online and in-person events, discussions and groups, all designed to cultivate great local business, connections and community.
Our experienced team, based at the Employers and Manufacturers Association (EMA), a foundation partner, understands the local business landscape and helps businesses find the right help at the right time.
